After my wonderful neighbor made the suggestion, I decided to try out a variation on plain old sugar cookies. I added almond extract to the original recipe and got these melt in your mouth treats. Thanks Ines:-)

Creative Cookies!
In addition to cheesecakes, I am now making delicious decorated cookies, brownies, biscotti, and almost any other sweet treat. I have made some cute sugar cookies for showers and can cater to different themes. Some of the shapes I can make include: palm trees, alligators, fish, kitties, dogs, flowers, etc. Not only are they adorable but they are also delicious!

History of cheesecakes
Cheesecakes may well have been the first desserts ever made. Ancient Greeks are credited as the originators of cheesecake. They were first made to reinvigorate athletes during the first Olympic Games in 776 B.C. Later they were made by brides for gifts to friends of their grooms, creating the wedding cake tradition. Upon Roman conquest of Greece and as Julius Caesar conquered the continent, a great variety of cheesecakes were created. The mixture of traditions eventually led to the development of our traditional all-American style cheesecake.
I am continually searching for new flavors to offer. I welcome suggestions and new flavor ideas at any time. Perhaps your own signature flavor could be developed?
Whether it's a shower, wedding, birthday party, or business meeting or any- cheesecake is a perfect classic dessert for all occasions.
All of my cheesecakes are hand made to order from the freshest, all natural, finest ingredients available.
